Farcry 5 Arcade IGI2 inspired level

This originally started as a design plan for 2D map. I instead used the research and initial design to make it into a FarCry 5 Arcade level.

I chose FarCry because of the sandbox stealth gameplay it offered.

  • Terminate multiple targets

Objectives

  • Infiltrate the facility
  • Identify guard with mainframe access codes
  • Hack and steal Blueprints
  • Exfiltrate from facility

Design for FarCry Level

I tweaked the design to suit Far Cry’s world and available assets.

The map is made for the bounty hunt mode, the player has to take out two enemy  VIP’s who are guarded by 20-25 enemy npcs.

The level is designed for different playstyles like in the IGI games 

Playstyles supported:

  • Stealth
  • Assualt

It also offers complete freedom to the player on how to approach their objective, by providing multiple points of ingress, each complementing different playstyles.

Exit points

After taking out the targets, the player has to escape the facility and reach the spawn.

The exits are similar to the ingress points except for the addition of the helicopter.
